Privacy Policy

Last updated: 19 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Everyday Relief collects, uses, stores and shares personal information when you visit our website, contact us or place an order.

Who we are

Everyday Relief is responsible for deciding how and why your personal information is used. For privacy questions or requests, email contact@everydayrelief.co.uk.

Information we collect

  • Order and account information: your name, email address, phone number, delivery and billing addresses, products ordered, order history and account details.
  • Payment information: payment status, payment method type and transaction identifiers. Card payments are handled securely by our payment processor; we do not receive or store your full card number.
  • Contact information: the details and message you submit through our contact form or send to us by email.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser and device information, request logs, and essential cookie identifiers used to operate the store, keep your cart and maintain a secure session. If you accept advertising cookies, this may also include Meta browser and click identifiers.

How we use your information

  • To create and manage your cart, account and orders.
  • To take payment, arrange delivery, provide order updates and handle returns or refunds.
  • To answer questions and provide customer support.
  • To prevent fraud, protect the website and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • To meet tax, accounting, consumer-protection and other legal obligations.
  • To send marketing messages only where you have asked to receive them or where the law otherwise permits it. You can opt out at any time.

Our legal bases

We process personal information where it is necessary to perform a contract with you, comply with a legal obligation, pursue our legitimate interests in operating and securing the store and supporting customers, or where you have given consent. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

Who receives your information

We share information only where needed to operate the store, including with our payment processor; hosting, database, storage and email-service providers; delivery and fulfilment partners; professional advisers; and public authorities where the law requires it. If you consent to advertising tracking, we also share advertising-event information with Meta to measure and improve our advertising. These recipients receive only the information needed for their role.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to remember your store, language, cart and sign-in session and to keep the website secure. These cookies are required for the store to function.

If you choose “Accept” in our cookie notice, we use the Meta Pixel and Conversions API to measure visits, product views, cart activity, checkout activity and purchases associated with our advertising. Depending on the event, this can include order value and contents, browser and click identifiers, IP address, device or browser information and normalised, securely hashed customer details used for matching. We do not load the Meta Pixel or send these advertising events unless advertising consent has been granted. You can withdraw consent through the “Cookie preferences” link in our website footer and choose “Reject” when the notice appears again.

International transfers

Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, we use providers and transfer mechanisms designed to provide an appropriate level of protection, such as adequacy regulations or approved contractual safeguards.

How long we keep information

We keep order and transaction records for as long as required for accounting, tax, fraud-prevention and legal purposes. Account information is kept while the account remains active and for a reasonable period afterwards. Contact messages and technical logs are kept only as long as needed to answer the request, secure the service and resolve disputes. We then delete or anonymise information where practical.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of or restriction of your personal information; object to certain processing; receive portable data; and withdraw consent. You may also object at any time to direct marketing.

To exercise a right, email contact@everydayrelief.co.uk. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

Children

Our store is not intended for children to make purchases independently, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate involvement from a parent or guardian.

Security and third-party links

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No online service is completely secure. Our website may link to third-party websites; their own privacy policies apply when you use them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services or legal obligations change. The latest version and its update date will always be published on this page.
